The Shared Services Senior Consultant, Applications for Enterprise Data Processing is responsible for evaluating
new techniques, practices, or technologies that meet the corporation's strategic goals.\t
Design and develop change
resilient application code and methodologies.\t
Communicate with systems and other partners at all levels about
new processes and recommendations.\t
Acts as a technical/ business consultant to peers and other partners.
Coordinate implementation of new processes and techniques.
Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Experience in developing data service based applications using Spring Frameworks.
Experience coaching, mentoring and leading a small/medium size application development team.
Required Skills
6+ years of Software Development experience in a variety of programming languages (preferably java)
Strong communication skills and interest in a pair-programming environment
Passion for growing your skills, tackling interesting work and challenging problems
Deep knowledge of Object-Oriented software design concepts and their implementation
BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and agile methodologies

Proven experience using the following Spring projects: Integration, Data, Rest, Cloud (including Stream) ,
Config Server, Eureka, and Zuul. (minimal 3-5 years experience)
Experience in Bigdata technologies stack for 2+ years.
Experience with Messaging using RabbitMQ or Kafka.
Experience with MarkLogic NoSQL
Experience with Oracle DDL and DML. (at least 5 years)
Experience with creating 12-factor applications within Pivotal Cloud Foundry (at least 3 years)
Experience with JetBrains Intellij and building micro-services using Gradle and deploying with Concourse
Preferred/ Recommended Skills:
Experience in the financial industry with knowledge of client reporting is highly desirable.
Lead requirement gathering workshops to identify use cases and value-based acceptance criteriaCreation and delivery of solutions for clients addressing requirements through technical architecture in consideration of process design, respective tool technical best practice and standardsCompleting, developing and improving required documentation such as process flow diagrams, roles/responsibilities, workshop agendas, presentationsEnsure technical deliverables to Customer Delivery and customers are complete, consistent, high quality, on time and deliver valued outcomesConfiguration of the application, workflows and UIDevelopment of required integration components (REST, SSO, LDAP, etc)Drive the continuous improvement of our implementation methodology and service offerings based on client experiencesDemonstrate ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) around all key technical decisions during project deliveryCollaborate and contribute to the creation, deployment and maintenance of technical best practices and standardsFlexible to work across multiple tools/platforms4+ years working in the ITSM or IT services/consulting industryThorough understanding of ITIL processes & SIAM methodology.Must have hands-on Experience on any one Service Management tools like Jira, Summit AI, Freshworks, Freshservice, BMC RemedyNice to have knowledge and experience on ServiceNowExperience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc) and working in a SaaS environment.Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL, SAML/SSO, REST/SOAP and other such technologies.Degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology and proven experience in technical consulting roles.Proven team player and team builderSolid experience in requirements gathering, including experience in creating process documentationExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills required to lead workshops and customer meetingsStrong interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity
